Good to know
Most people are advised to have a checkup and cleaning about every six months, though your dentist may suggest a different interval based on your oral health. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a child’s first dental visit by their first birthday.
Ask which insurance plans the office accepts, how it handles after-hours emergencies, whether it offers sedation or comfort options, and whether treatment plans and costs are written out before work begins.
Listings are hand-selected. We look for a strong, consistent record of reviews on established third-party platforms and confirm basic contact details before a business appears. Paid plans can raise where a listing appears on a page, but they don’t buy a place in the guide.
Each rating is shown as published on the named third-party site, such as Yelp, Google, Houzz, WeddingWire or RealSelf, with the review count and a link to the source. Ratings change over time, so check the source for the latest.
