Every business in our guide has been reviewed before it appears. The badge tells your customers you passed that review, and it links them to your listing, where they can see your rating and its source.
What “vetted” means
- A real review record. A strong, consistent rating with a meaningful number of reviews on an established platform, shown on your listing with its source.
- Confirmed basics. We check your address, phone and website, and that the business is open.
- Not for sale. Inclusion is free and editorial. Paid plans change placement, never whether you are listed.

Who can display the badge?
Any business that currently has a listing on Conejo Insider. The badge must link to that business’s own listing page; the embed code on this page does this automatically.
Does it cost anything?
No. The badge is free for every listed business, whether the listing is free or paid. Paid plans never decide who is included.
How does a business get vetted?
We review each business before it appears: a strong, consistent record of reviews on an established platform (such as Google, Yelp, Houzz, WeddingWire or RealSelf), plus confirmed location, phone and website.
What if a business is removed from the guide?
If a business closes or no longer meets our standards, its listing is removed and it should take the badge down. The badge links to the live listing, so visitors can always check the current status.
